In order to secure the booking, each rental item you select we request a payment up front which is due when the terms and conditions have been read and payment has been made online.
This is a non-refundable retainer which will secure Original Photo’s services for the date of the event and bookings cannot be confirmed until this money has been received. The remaining balance is then due three weeks prior to the date. Please click here for more information on our Refunds & Cancellations policy.
The rental period will start two days before the event and run to the next working day after the event inclusive and The Original Photo Company will arrange for delivery and collection of the equipment via courier. The client agrees to package the equipment in the boxes provided by The Original Photo Company and agrees to the designated time for delivery and collection of the cameras prior to the date.
The Original Photo Company agrees to hire equipment for the purpose of your event or wedding. Availability may be limited and reservations are made on a first come first served basis, validated by the deposit and the signed contract.
All of our kit is fully insured with a £250 excess. In the unlikely event that The Original Photo Company should have to make a claim, the client is responsible for the £250 excess in full. The equipment will be left in the care of the client in good working condition and any damage, loss or theft of the equipment whilst in their care, will be charged to the client up to a maximum of £250. In the case of loss, damage or theft of the equipment, the client agrees to contact The Original Photo Company immediately and we cannot be responsible for the resulting lack of equipment.

The client agrees to examine the equipment & any required batteries, before the event to ensure that they are in good working order. If there are any technical or operator issues at this point, the client agrees to raise them with The Original Photo Company.
